The social disparity between genders, existing since the early history, is still shadowing the present society, hindering the advancement of the women as it should have been. The proposed project “Empowerment Center for Trafficked Women” will address issues regarding accommodation, physical health and mental health assistance for victims as well as skill development, vocational training and awareness activities that aids in empowering the victims of trafficking. Its main goal is to create an environment in which trafficked women can recuperate physically, emotionally and spiritually. Thus, A vision to design socially responsible Architecture.
