dc.description.abstract | Regarding the project to be chosen for Architecture Thesis of Bachelor Degree, I am seeking to choose for the Architecture which is socially responsible, that helps to lift up the present scenario of society of Nepal, and results to eradicate serious problems of the society. The social disparity between genders, existing since the early history, is still shadowing the present society, hindering the advancement of the women as it should have been. The proposed project “Empowerment Center for Trafficked Women” will address issues regarding accommodation, physical health and mental health assistance for victims as well as skill development, vocational training and awareness activities that aids in empowering the victims of trafficking. Its main goal is to create an environment in which trafficked women can recuperate physically, emotionally and spiritually. Thus, A vision to design socially responsible Architecture. Lastly, hopefully through this project the socio-economic conditions of trafficked women in Nepal can be increased. | en_US |
