Abstract: | As per the academic syllabus of fourth year in Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, there are various projects provided to be carried out. Students are encouraged to choose project in their field of interest. Geotechnical project is one of these projects field. This project aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the Sisneri landslide and develop effective strategies to mitigate its impact on the surrounding area. The primary objectives are to analyze the stability of the landslide area, identify key factors contributing to its occurrence, and propose appropriate measures to mitigate future risks. Landslides pose significant threats to the safety and infrastructure of communities worldwide. In mountainous regions like Sisneri, Solukhumbu, Nepal, the risk of landslides is particularly pronounced due to complex geological conditions and rapid changes in topography. Recognizing the need to address this critical issue, this final year project focuses on the "Stability Analysis and Mitigation Design of Sisneri Landslide." “Stability Analysis and Mitigation Design of Sisneri Landslide” is a report prepared by the students of Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering final year as a part of our project. |
