Abstract: Libraries for Children and Young Adults are essential for information and development. It is in childhood and youth that all kinds of literacy skills are best built. Early childhood literacy is important: the earlier a person starts to access information, the more efficient and life-long this access will be. Libraries for Children are the key to equal possibilities for all to access information. Children’s libraries equip children with lifelong learning and literacy skills, enabling them to participate and contribute to the community. The links between literacy and social and economic outcomes cannot be overemphasized. Children’s libraries have a special responsibility to support the process of learning to read and to give children access to all media. They empower children and advocate for their freedom and safety. They encourage children to become confident and competent people. This projects includes the various advanced facility provided for the development of children’s learning psychology as a children’s library. This project helps to provide space for juvenile age group for their academic and extra curriculum activities in fun way. This project is designed in such way that it breaks the traditional concept of library. This project is completed in various phases of Literature review, Case study, Site analysis, Concept and Designs. This project is designed in Dillibazar, Kathmandu to grant access to the public. The program includes all the theoretical description that is required to meet the minimum requirements to use the building as a children’s library and even has more advanced facilities. The project was completed in various steps. The project is designed in Dillibazar, Kathmandu to grant access to the general public especially for children. The program includes study areas in formal and informal pattern, certified dog therapy session, arts and craft, picture book corner, toy library, maker space, terrace garden, terrace yoga space, sand play area, mini wall climb and many other indoor and outdoor facilities that is required for the development of children as a whole.
