Abstract: The research center studies problems both globally and nationally, hence giving a solution that help human beings develop in the right direction. Also, combination of laboratory science and public health helps to make a real-world difference in fighting various diseases. Globally health and economic development are advancing rapidly with high-quality health care, by the energetic efforts of many health professionals conducting research. According to Journal of NHRC, in context of Nepal, there were altogether 370 health related research centers in Nepal where only 81 research centers are functional. Out of which 82.3% were just health service provider and 10% of research institute were research based. Also, In the ongoing scenario of the world, many problems had been faced due to the deadliest virus ‘Covid-19’ which need to be unraveled in order to return back to normal social life. The thesis titled “Research center on infectious disease; Acute Respiratory infections” mainly focuses on the research and diagnosis of respiratory infection to provide better health environment for public. The project aims to provide a platform for researcher to conduct various research activities related to respiratory disease as well as to enhance the working environment. It helps to promote the interaction between students and industry to enhance the research opportunities, academic excellence, real world problem solving and knowledge creation, etc. Also landscape elements in courtyard provide better environment that can reduce patients’ anxiety and stress, accelerate recovery, shorten hospitalizations, reduce medication use, lessen pain, and promote a sense of well-being
