Abstract: A science museum is a museum devoted primarily to science. Science museums emphasize a hands-on approach, featuring interactive exhibits that encourage visitors to experiment and explore. It is a must-see destination. Science is a practical subject and one should have a practical approach towards learning it. As a Chinese proverb says, “I hear and I forget; I see and I remember; I do and I understand”. The mission of this science museum is to encourage learning by performing. So, the provision of science museum, with its interactive exhibits, becomes a must if mysteries of science are to be explored. We are the dreamers and we love to be free to explore. And the word science refers to the field of study concerned with discovering and describing the world around us by observing and experimenting. With the advance of knowledge, technology and thinking of people the purpose of museum is being changed day by day. Nowadays museum is not only the store house but a place where one can gain knowledge and research without any boundaries. The design, function and importance of museum are also influenced by the advancement in technology. And hence Science Museum is the outcome of this change in concept of museum design. Science is the indication of human brilliance. And without knowledge of science, we human have not had reach up to this advanced world. Learning and discovering is a never-ending process. And knowledge of science is the soul of invention and discovery. So, it’s very important to create interest in the field of science among children’s and adult. Hence, science museum is the means to engage people in this mysterious ride of science and inspiring them to innovate. Science is the synonym of development or progress. Development in science and technology is a direct measure of country’s prosperity. The raising and exposure towards science among people, especially the young generations, is a must for the country to prosper and for this purpose the need of “Science Museum” can’t be denied to provide such space to explore, dream and discover. This science museum offers a wide variety of educational classes for children of class 4 to 10, high- definition Planetarium shows, Inner and outer Exhibits with interactive exhibits, role of light and shadows in dark room, dinosaurs’ room, feeling of dark room and in light, live activities and information in multi-purpose hall and many more. This science museum acts as a supplement to understand the science as taught in text books by hand on experience.
