Abstract: The motorcycle enthusiast community plays a pivotal role in shaping the experiences of riders, serving as a vital space for connection and exchange. "Motorcycle Oasis" emerges as a unique concept within this realm, envisioned as a sanctuary for those seeking camaraderie and solace on the open road. This research delves into the multifaceted aspects that define the Motorcycle Oasis community, examining its function as a gathering point, a hub for knowledge exchange, and a celebration of motorcycle culture. This thesis proposes a novel urban typology for public gatherings, redefining spaces for motorcycle enthusiasts in Nepal. As motorcycles gain popularity as a mode of transportation, the need for a consolidated space becomes increasingly evident. The proposed Motorcycle Oasis aims to simplify the purchasing process by housing multiple motorcycle brands within a single venue, thereby allowing individuals to make informed decisions without wasting valuable time. Additionally, this space will enhance communication within the community and foster social interaction among bikers. Beyond its role as a commercial hub, the Motorcycle Oasis will incorporate essential training facilities to address the rising incidence of motorcycle accidents, often attributed to inadequate riding knowledge. By offering comprehensive training programs, the project seeks to reduce accident rates and promote a safer riding environment. The historical context of Nepal's transition from bicycles to motorcycles highlights the evolving needs of the market. Traditionally, individuals faced a fragmented experience when purchasing and maintaining motorcycles, often visiting multiple locations for different services. The Motorcycle Oasis addresses this issue by creating a unified, streamlined experience, combining sales, servicing, accessories, and training institute under one roof. This holistic approach not only meets the growing demand for motorcycles but also strengthens community bonds and enhances safety through targeted training initiatives.
