| dcterms.abstract | Being a fourth year students at Purbanchal University, it is our assigned task to do useful project addressing one of the most needed structure for our capital city. We have preformed project Seismic Analysis and Design of Commercial Building. That is supposed to address the current land use problem at the core business area, resulting haphazard settlement of people, pollution. We have compiled different works on our project in this report. Purbanchal University, Khwopa Engineering College offers a four year course on Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering and at the final semester, students have to do project work to implement theoretical knowledge acquired during study into practical field. The main objective of the project work is to make the students able to analyze and design the high rise structures. Considering the various facts, we the students of 2076 batch of Civil Engineering Department choose to undertake the project work on “SEISMIC ANALYSIS AND DESIGN OF COMMERCIAL BUILDING”. Despite of time boundary and resources we have completed the project successfully. We hope it will meet the project objective, though any opinion, suggestion, criticism for the project would be fruitful. | - |
