FOOTBALL STADIUM At Chittapol, Nalinchowk

Abstract

A football stadium plays an important role in the popularity and the future of a game. As it holds the key for a game’s success, providing good environment for the players by a good design is very important. Thus for a good design, thorough knowledge of football stadium and its various components must be gained. Spaces required for players, different recreation and other must required facilities for player must be in a stadium. In order to develop a game stadium also plays an important role. A good stadium design requires good stadium knowledge. Knowledge about the various requirements of a stadium makes a complete stadium which is functionally, aesthetically and structurally sound. There are many types of stadium for different purpose or mainly for different sports events. Basically stadium can be classified into two- indoor stadiums and open stadiums. Different stadiums have to be designed as according to their respected requirements. So this report includes both study of requirements of a stadium design that will be helping me in my thesis design phase.
