dc.description.abstract | Human lives have always been accompanied by various pets throughout history. They have aided and companioned humans at times of need and also helped humans to grow physically and intellectually strong. While overseeing the human and animal relationship it is an inseparable part of caring and providing equal opportunities for the animals that are part of our lives. The thesis titled “CANINE CARE AND TRAINING” focuses primarily on the stray dogs where different typed of training are provided to the dogs, once trained are subjected for the adoption purpose, and also oriented to improve human and canine inter-relationship and bonding. The project incorporated a detailed literature review where various documents like dog psychology, human-animal relation, human-environment relation, and animal-environment relation were studied along with various case studies. The thesis aims to create a better accommodation facility and improve the enriching factors of the life of a shelter animal. Likewise, it is directed toward providing a healthy environment that would ensure and promote the physiological, social, behavioural, and psychological development of the dogs. Different exercise area is providing near kennel which help in improving psychological and physical behaviour of dogs. Therapy park is design with different play and sitting area for both human and dog, to create recreational interactive space. This project no only aims to provide comfortable space for stray dog but also to the pets and their owner. Providing spaces like dog park, leash off play area, picnic area, walking trail for visitor to spend quality time with their pets. | en_US |
