The main aim of the project is to preserve the Tamang culture by retaining its original value into architectural form. The culture center will create an inspiring spaces that will give interested people experience and opportunities to learn and explore the culture. Due to lack of cultural discoveries the social, cultural, economic and religious faith are into the disappearance. The strong and solid architectural expression must help in the sustainability of superb culture . So, my ultimate goal of the thesis of Bachelor in Architecture is to give a place that speaks itself about the Tamang people and their culture by appealing the followers and well-wishers of the culture to come and experience it with a well-planned and designed architecture. The place is also for the people who would like to learn and discover the Tamang Culture. Site for the project is proposed at Nepalthok, Dumja which lies near Ramechhap where one of the traditional settlement of Tamang is located. Many youngsters have forgotten their own culture and traditions. So I have designed the culture center to promote and transfer knowledge related to the Tamang community through exhibitions, museum spaces, documentary shows, traditional dances etc. For these purposes I have provided a cultural museum, multipurpose hall, canteen, convention spaces and historical library. Through this project I want to uplift the Tamang community. I have provided training spaces for traditional dances and Thanka painting. Researchers are also welcomed here as I have provided library facility for them. Accommodation is given for the people who comes for training and from distant places.en_US
